Idaho Falls to Yellowstone Park

We got off INT 15 going east toward Jackson Hole WY

 

We then took Teton Pass over the mountains

 

There was fresh snow

There are very cool views from this pass

We then headed north through the Grand Teton National Park

 

I don't mind when parts of the car show, it makes it clear that these are the views you see from the road.

We had lunch on Jenny Lake

While driving to our hotel in Yellowstone we stopped at Yellowstone Canyon to see the falls.

It's quite a hike down the side of the canyon to get this view of the falls

That night we checked into the historic Old Faithful Inn, a 5 or 6 story long cabin with a full height lobby that pre dates Hyatt by more than 100 years.
